Well, everyone has left me. My Grandma and Aunt Mindy went far away to some place called Montana and didn’t want to take Mommy and I. My daddy went to a “Bachelor” party for the weekend, so its just Tanner, Mommy and me. We have had fun so far. Played and went out to dinner and watched movies, but it was REALLY hot today so we stayed inside to keep cool.

I have been really fussy lately every night from about 5 to 8. Tonight was the worst, 5 - 9:30. My tummy hurt and Mommy tried everything she could to comfort me but I was just plain miserable. I will have to make sure Mommy talks to the doctor at my appointment on August 9th (be sure to check my stats then for my weight/height etc.)

Mommy only has one more week to stay home with me until she goes back to work. She is very sad about that and that she has to leave me. I am sure I will be in great hands with my Sandi, but there’s nothing like Mommy. Well, at least she has lots of pictures of me to put on her desk.

I am smiling all the time for pretty much anyone. I save the biggest ones for Mommy and Daddy though. I try to laugh and talk but the words just won’t come. I have fun making Mommy smile with my cooing though. She says I am growing way too fast for her liking.

I think I get to see my Grandma in Lakewood next week. I will have to save some extra special dooties just for her and that will show her for not seeing me for so long, hehe. Just kidding!

I had a great day today. First, we had to go to the tire store to get a nail fixed in the tire. We dropped off the car and went to the airport to pick up my Grandpa’s sister-in-law, who flew all the way from Kansas to see me. Now they may try to trick you into thinking she came to see Granpa Ron, but really she came just to see me! Just Kidding! She thought I was all too cute.

My first trip to the airport was fun. We had to drive around these circles that made me dizzy. Then we got to see lots of airplanes and SO MANY people passing by. I can’t wake to take my first trip on a jetplane!!!

After the airport, we went back to the tire store and they still hadn’t got the tire fixed. I was getting sick of that place and hungry so I started to fuss. We had to get two brand new tires, because the one tire was simply unreplacable. So… we decided to go to Dairy Queen. My mommy had some french fries and I had some milk, yum-yum. I was pretty happy, til we had to go BACK to the tire store and wait another 1/2 hour for them to fix the car.

Finally! We get to do what I have been waiting for all day, SHOP!!! That’s right!! Mommy and Mindy and I went to get her wedding dress from JC Penney. She got two, I guess just in case one didn’t look quite right or something. I watched her try both of them on (see that picture above? That was me while I was waiting to see her in her dress!) Mommy decided to go with the prettiest one of the two. I can’t wait to see her and Daddy get married.

Tanner says Mommy and Daddy did it “backwards” - had the baby first and then the wedding; instead of the right way, “frontwards” - with the wedding first and then the baby. But I like it this way, because I don’t get to miss out on the fun of a wedding. Mommy is going to buy me a real pretty dress too.

Well, I have had a very long day and Mommy is tired so I am going to let her retire and I to my crib. Have a good week everyone. My grandma and Mindy are leaving for a week to Montana and I will miss them. See ya when you guys get back.

Well, I left my mommy for the first time since I have been born. I let her go to the movies with Dad and I stayed with Grandma and Mindy. Dad and Mom needed a night out! Mom wasn’t too crazy about the idea, but I made sure she knew that I missed her by being a little fussy for Grandma til Mom got back.

It was fun visiting with Grandma and Mindy and listening to them fight about who would get to change my diaper. I made sure I gave them something to fight about too! hehe.

I have been smiling alot now. I decided not to be so selfish with them anymore. For awhile, I was only smiling at Mom. She even got one on videotape. It makes her so happy when I smile. I smiled at my daddy for the first time yesterday morning. I made his day. I also gave a little grin for Grandma.

I am hoping my other Grandma up in Lakewood comes to visit me soon. I haven’t seen her in 4 weeks.

Well, its finally raining here in Vancouver, after weeks and weeks of it being hot. I am happy that my heat rash is going away. I don’t like those rashes interfering with my complexion.

Time for me to go take a nap. I slept from 10pm to 6:00am last night. Gave Mom and Dad a good night’s sleep, since Grandma didn’t want to keep me over night. hehe. Though I think Mom sleeps better when I squak a few times, just to let her know that I am still there. WHen I sleep for so long, she wakes up to make sure that I haven’t run away or something. Mom’s are crazy like that.

Have a good weekend everyone. Mom, Dad, Tanner, Ashlyn and I are just staying home to relax. Katie is at Great Grandma’s visiting and starting swimming lessons!

Guess who’s back? That’s right!! Its the one you have all been waiting for…

I know..I know…I shouldn’t keep you all waiting…but what can I say…life has been hectic lately…eating…pooping…sleeping…you know the drill…a baby has to take care of herself you know?

I gave mom a present this week…I smiled at her!! I had to give the first smile to mom…she works so hard during the day taking care of me while dad is at work…

Dad will get his soon……maybe.

This weekend we are going camping again…Dad has a softball tournament in Long Beach…all I ask is that they bring extra fire extinguishers…

I can’t believe that today I am 5 weeks old…where o where does the time go…?

Well…I want to go eat again…I will try to tell you all about my camping trip as soon as I get back…but you know how it is don’t you?

I heard that I might get to meet my other great-grandma this weekend…I hope I have a good hair day!!

My mommy has been bugging my daddy to update my diary, because she knows how important to all of you my growing is! My daddy is not cooperating too well. If only I could sit up so that I could type it myself!! … or my daddy wasn’t such a huge procrastinator!!

We went to Long Beach over the weekend to help my mommy and daddy plan for their wedding in September. We didn’t get much done, but we had a good time. My mommy, Aunt Crystal and I went and looked at wedding cakes… something sure smelled good in that thing they call a “Bakery”. And, my mommy and Aunt Crystal told me make sure everyone knew… THEY DIDN’T EAT ANYTHING…

On our way home on Sunday, our van was not doing so well. Grandma had to come jump it FOUR times before we were able to get home. It was a long drive, but I was a very good girl. I only cried a few times after Mommy got out of the car and left me with my Daddy all alone. I love my daddy, but mommy feeds me when Daddy is driving or just comes back to cuddle with me.

I went to my FIRST movie on Monday. Mommy and Daddy took me to the Perfect Storm. It was kind of loud, but I was still able to get my beauty sleep. Grandpa came over on Monday night to do fireworks for my brother and I. It was so much fun. I really liked the Piccolo Petes. If I can sleep through my daddy snoring, I can sleep through anything. hehe.

On the 4th of July, we went to my Uncle Brian and Aunt Crystal’s house. It was so much fun visiting with my friends and watching the fireworks. Daddy bought a big package of them and lit them all off for everyone. What a nice daddy he is.

Well, I just wanted to let you know what is going on with me lately and hopefully Daddy will be back from his hiatus soon.
