I love Fall!

One of the things I really enjoy is my one on one time with Bailey. I can enjoy time with Bailey… I can clean the house… I can run errands with one kid in tow, rather than five… I actually have time to think and plan things! I LOVE THAT THE KIDS ARE BACK IN SCHOOL!
Today, we met daddy for lunch after work at Sheri’s and Bailey and I went to Petco to look at the fish and hamsters and buy dog food for Libby. Daddy gave us $20, so she had her $20 bill and had to get the dog food first and use the change on whatever she thought was most important. She got her little cart and started throwing halloween dog costumes, dog toys, treats, and more into the cart. We finally had to go through some of it and figure out what was more important. She decided that it was close to Halloween so a pumpkin shape squeaker toy was a necessity. Then she picked out a bag of chocolate dog treats (rather disgusting if you ask me) and her favorite thing was going through the dog bar… and stuffing a bag with dog treats. Our total came to $19.92. She was a smart shopper

Happy Labor Day

We’ve done a whole lot of “not much” this weekend. We did some clean up in the garage, yardwork, and various areas of our home. It’s amazing how a home that’s only been lived in for 3 months can become disorganized and cluttered this quick! Guess it doesn’t take much with 7 people living here
We rented a few movies from Redbox… Wild Hogs, Barnyard, Disturbia, and A Perfect Stranger. We were going to watch them last night, but found miss Bailey to be much more entertaining. A neighbor of ours is moving to SC and has been giving us quite a few things that they can’t take with them. The girls came home with some type of thing the other day, it’s tall and skinny and has a hook on it. I think it’s to hang fireplace tools, anyway…. as I was telling them to take it back because we don’t have a fireplace and I didn’t want it to end up a weapon or toy… they told me “it’s Bailey’s microphone mommy!”… sooo with that, it stayed.
Here is a video of her last night singing a song from the movie Hairspray…. “Good Morning Baltimore”.
