It’s almost Christmas!! We have lots of presents under our Christmas tree already. Not very many are for me though! I can’t wait to munch on all that paper!

Let’s see. In a nutshell, we are going to be very busy this weekend!

– Friday — Mom is taking me to the mall with my daycare people to see Santa. We are also going shopping for a present for daddy - woohoo! That is my favorite thing to do these days. We went shopping last Friday with my aunty Liz. It was so much fun! We are also planning to go see Castaway that night while Grandpa Sam has the older 3 siblings. This will be my 4th trip to the movie theater :)

I have seen The Perfect Storm, The Grinch, and Vertical Limit so far. I love movies!! Pretty soon, though, I will be wanting to get down and crawl around, so mom & dad will have to find a babysitter for me so they can go to the movies.

– Saturday — My Grandma Lisa and Rick are coming down to visit. <> We may go to another movie at mom & dad’s work: The Emporer’s New Wish or something like that. That will be my 5th movie!!! woohoo! I can’t wait. I haven’t seen Grandma Lisa in almost 2 months :( Wait til she sees how big I’m getting! Then, that night we are going to drive around and look at Christmas lights on all the pretty houses.

– Sunday — is Christmas Eve!! We’ll be going to grandma and grandpa’s house for dinner and presents and good stuff like that. Grandma has so many pretty things — I love her house. I always cry when she takes me downstairs to see Grandpa though. Its not his fault. I just gotta be able to see my mommy or daddy at all times!

– Monday — well you know… :) We are staying home with our family. This is daddy’s idea. We won’t be going to my Aunt Barb’s for Christmas like Mommy has done every year for 24 years. We are starting our own traditions, which is very hard for mommy. But, our family is so big now, and its getting so hard to travel on holidays like this. We aren’t going to Grandpa’s OR grandma’s either. Whoever wants to see us gets to come to us :)

It’s going to be such a fun weekend being around all the people I love and that love me too. I can’t wait. This will always be my favorite part of the year. I love my family so much!

Oh and by the way, I’m sitting up!! I kinda balance on my fat belly, but I can sit up for a minute or so before I timbeeeerrrrrrrrrr to the side. :)

Have a very Merry Christmas everyone!

Love,
Kenzie

Hello all! Guess what?! I rolled over for the first time on 12/5/00. I teased my mom and dad first. I rolled when they weren’t looking. My mommy rolled me back over to my back and walked away for a second. My dad was looking at Tanner, and I rolled again . Then, mommy rolled me to my back and sat with the video camera til I did it again. They got so excited for me, not sure why - freaky people. It was just a ROLL!!!

I saw Santa for the first time on Saturday. Got my picture taken. Didn’t cry or anything. He was kind of spooky, but his little squeaky bunny was fun to look at.

Then, we got our Christmas Tree. All the perty lights got put up! Dad still needs to put them on the OUTSIDE of the house. We’ll see if that happens. C’mon, Dad, I really wanna see them! The tree looks great. My brother and sisters decorated it yesterday and it looks really nice.

I have a doctor appointment on 12/13/00 to get some shots and a checkup. Not looking forward to it. :( Check for my stats the next day.

I am really loving my first christmas.

See ya’ll soon!

Love,
Kenzie

Oh my! It has been so long since I have updated my journal. I have been so busy growing that I just haven’t had time! I am learning so many knew things and growing so much!

I can say “mama” now though I don’t really know what the word means, I know it has something to do with my mommy… I just am not sure how to relate it to her. I say it when I’m happy and when I am crying like this: “mama, mama, mama”. It makes everyone smile… soon, I’ll be saying “dada, dada, dada”.

My Uncle Brian says that I am going to have a deep voice like my Grandma Lisa. We’ll see :)

I still have not rolled over for mommy and daddy, but I am sitting up really well almost by myself even!! I have very strong legs and back.

No teeth yet, but I am sure tryin’! I drool like crazy!

I am eating everything in site! I love all the food MAMA feeds me. haha Daddy. She has fed me a little bit of everything and I chow down on all of it! My favorite would probably be squash or pears.

I have a new baby doll that my grandma bought for me when we went shopping last month. I LOVE IT! It is pink and has little knots on the head, hands and feet. I chew on those like there is no tomorrow! You can see it at my December Pictures site (go back to main page for link).

Well, thats about it for now! I’ll try to write more later!

Love,
Kenzie
