Bailey:: February 2004
Bailey is growing so much and so quickly. It seems she is doing something new each day. She plays pat a cake, that’s her absolute favorite thing to do. She says “pat pat pat” when we “clap” and “roll roll roll” when we “roll”. It’s funny because “rolling” is not easy for a baby I don’t think, it takes some coordination to move those wrists the right directions. She does it perfectly! She loves giving kisses. She tilts her chin WAY UP high and puckers up so sweetly. She’ll give one to almost anyone that asks, BUT she is still very attached to mama and doesn’t go to very many other people!
Bailey still nurses 6 to 8 times per day and has pretty much gotten herself down to one to two naps per day and is usually in bed for the night by 9:30 or so (still cosleeping with mama). She gets up early with Daddy for “bonding time” and Mommy gets to sleep in. I love listening to them play and giggle. Bailey used to not be too sure of her daddy, and I can see how much her love for him has grown in the last few months.
We’ve discovered she doesn’t like dogs, but is fascinated by cats. She HATES heights and being thrown up in the air. McKenzie used to LOVE this. In fact, all my older kids did. I still play “airplane” with them from time to time. I’m amazed at how strong my legs are to push my almost 12 yr old up in the air with them!
Other than Bailey is just her joyful little self. She’s developing a very fun personality and we all love her so much!
