The kids are back to school today. Kati’s first day of high school. Kenzie’s first full day at school. Ashlyn’s first day of middle school. Exciting for them. All four kids were pretty excited to go to school today. McKenzie missed the bus this morning, he was a tad bit early and though we were walking down our street to the bus stop, I guess he was in a hurry and only paused, didn’t stop to wait. We drove her into school - what a madhouse. Note to self: DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL ON THE FIRST DAY! LOL. Took us 30 minutes to drop her off… and we only live 5 minutes away!

All but Kati took sack lunches today. They got PB&J sandwiches, fruit snacks, applesauce cup, cheesey peanut butter crackers, and a capri sun. Boring. LOL. I did manage to get a napkin with a note in McKenzie’s lunch box. It said “Hope you are having a happy day” and a big smiley face. I can’t tell you how excited she is to get THREE recesses and EAT LUNCH at school LOL.

I’m just going to share a bunch of pictures… and let them do the talking. We went to the American Idols Live tour on Friday (my mom, MIL, Ashlyn, Bailey and my Aunt Barb). We had a great time! Bailey danced til she practically fell asleep standing up. Their concerts are always fun - and they really are amazing singers —- all of them! Taylor is so awesome…. he is so fun to watch. Chris and Elliot are my second favorites and they have just amazing voices. All the guys sang “Patience” by Guns N Roses… dare I say it was better than GNR? I loved them when I was younger too LOL.
