I took two typing classes in college… that was over 10 years ago. I used to type over 100 minutes per minute so I was curious to see what I officially type now. I’ve gotten kind of lazy… but am still pretty proud of the results

About 2 months ago, I canceled my Netflix membership and we no longer rent DVD’s from Blockbuster nor PPV. We’ve discovered Redbox! Providing you can return the movies on time (9pm the next day), these make for a GREAT deal on movie rentals! They are $1.00 + tax each!
Or free if you have a code. I found a list of Redbox codes online. You get one free rental per code, and each code can be used one time per credit card. You just have to check out the movies separately.

Here is the list…. the newest codes are in the left colum, the right column has the oldest and I don’t know how many are valid (to my knowledge, they all are, but I can’t guarantee that :).. that’s why I text quite a few to my cell phone so I have them on me when I go to rent something.

Just posting a slideshow of our Easter Pictures. First time in 32 years, I shared my birthday with Easter. Grandma Lisa and Uncle Joel came down and went to an Easter Egg hunt with us, helped us color Easter eggs, and celebrate Easter/Birthdays at Grandpa’s. We had a good dinner, yummy cake, and a somewhat relaxing day. The kids were in sugar comas by 6pm! Blech!

The kids found a frog today… he was quite cute!

And dessert was mini chocolate chip muffins, also colored green.

Our friend’s daughter celebrated her first birthday today. Happy Birthday Kennedy! I told our friend Tiffany, she should be a party planner. She had an amazing party planned for her! We played 2 games, one she had written down several of Kennedy’s “firsts” from her first year… and she passed around notecards, we all had to guess the order in which her firsts occurred. I was SHOCKED but I won! I guess having been through 5 first years myself, I had some good insight. I won a pretty purple candle, which looks beautiful in my bathroom!

The second game, we passed around a box that had been wrapped several different times in different types of wrapping paper. This game was similar to hot potato, there was music playing and we tossed it around until it stopped. Then the person holding it had to unwrap a layer. Whoever took off the last piece of wrapping paper revealing the box, had to open the box and do what was inside the box. Of course, we all thought it was going to be something like “change a diaper” or something like that. But, it ended up saying “you won a prize” LOL.

After her party, we went and saw Horton Hears A Who which was really cute… it was all in all a very nice day
